Meet Joel

I grew up the oldest of four boys in a small town in northern Pennsylvania, where my parents taught us that real service means showing up, working hard, and standing up for folks who can't stand up for themselves. My mom spent more than 20 years as an elementary school teacher before taking a leap of faith to start her own business - one my dad now helps run alongside her. Watching them take that risk and build something together left a lasting mark on me.

Those lessons carried me through Front Range Community College, CU Boulder, and eventually law school at the University of Denver. Today, I serve as a Chief Deputy District Attorney right here in Arapahoe County, where I've prosecuted some of the toughest cases - homicides, sexual assaults, hate crimes, you name it - standing shoulder-to-shoulder with victims and teaching new prosecutors to do the same.

Off the clock, my wife Maddie, our cat Barb, and I love spending time with family and friends or wandering through the shops, restaurants, and bars in downtown Littleton. We’re big fans of good music, great food, and easygoing walks. It’s those things - and all of you - that make Littleton feel like home to us.

That deep love for Littleton is what drives me to fight for it - to keep it safe, welcoming, and thriving for every neighbor, friend, and visitor. Serving on City Council gives me the chance to do just that: to solve problems before they ever reach the courtroom, to make sure our streets are safe, our infrastructure strong, and opportunity within reach for all. I'm proud to be doing that work now, and I'm asking for your vote so we can keep moving Littleton forward, together.
